The Election Commission announced the much-awaited dates for Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017 on Wednesday.

The polling will be held in two phases - on December 9 and December 14. Out of the total 182 Assembly constituencies, 89 will go to vote in the first phase while the second phase would see polling in 93 seats. The counting of votes will take place on December 18.
