Application Form Fee Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2020-21:

Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2020-21 Eligibility for Class 6th:

The candidate who is not born after 1st May 2006 and after 30th April 2009 can apply for the written test.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2020-21 Eligibility for Class 9th:

The candidate who is not born after 1st May 2002 and after 30th April 2006 can apply for the written test can apply for the competitive exam.

Only those who have completed their class 8th from Government or Government Recognized school of the district level especially where Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is functioning can apply.

Those who belong to rural as well as urban areas are not required to pass the 3rd, 4th and 5th classes from their areas. There will no special proviso for the transgender candidate and their reservation will be similar to SC and ST category candidates or same as urban and rural category aspirants.  The reservation of seats according to rural areas is 75% and 25% for urban areas.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Exam Pattern for Class 9th:

• The question paper will appear in English/Hindi languages only.
• Answer in the OMR sheet only.
• Prepare for subjects like Mathematics, General Science, English and Hindi.
• English for 15 Marks
• Hindi for 15 Marks
• Maths for 35 Marks
• Science for 35 Marks
• The test will be objective type in pattern and the candidate needs to complete the exam in two hours duration. Merit list will be prepared as per the selection criteria of NVS.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2020-21 Syllabus:

Mental Ability: Odd Man out, Figure Matching, Figure Series Completion, Mirror Imaging, The pattern Completion, Space visualization, Analogy, Geometrical Figure Completion, Punched Hold Pattern, Embedded visualization.

Arithmetic Section: Four Fundamental Operations on the Whole Number, Number and Numeric Section, Factors and Multiple Including their Properties, Fractional number and Fundamental operation, LCM and HCF factors, Conversion of the Fraction to Decimal and Vice Versa, Decimals and Fundamental operations, Mass, Applications of the Number in Measure Length, Capacity, time, Distance and speed, etc.
