GSSSB Inspector Exam Syllabus & Pattern

Part-I (1 Hour & 100 Marks)

• Preliminary Examination (Screening Test- Objective Type)
• General Knowledge-Objective Type

Part-II

• Physical Screening Test: The particulars of test and qualifying standard shall be as under:
• Male Candidate: Running 1600 meters (Qualifying standard: in 8 Minutes)
• Female Candidate: Running 800 meters (Qualifying standard: In 4 minutes and 30 seconds)
• Note: only the candidates, who qualify in physical standards fixed for them as above, shall be eligible to appear in the main examination as specified in part III. There shall be no marks for the physical test.

Part-III

• Main Examination
• The main examination shall consist written objective type of 100 (Hundred) marks as follows namely:
• Written Examination – Objective Type:
• Gujarati: 35 Marks
• English: 30 Marks
• General Knowledge: 35 Marks

Note:  The standard of question paper of Gujarati as well as English shall be of the level of the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination conduced in the State. minimum qualifying standard 40% for All Category
