SSC GD Constable Result 2019: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the written examination result of Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2018 on 20 June 2019 on its official website, ssc.nic.in. The Commission released GD Constable Result just one day advance of the schedule date of announcement of the result. However there is trouble in opening the official website of the SSC due to heavy congestion.

SSC along with releasing the SSC GD Constable Result 2019 also released the list of qualified candidates against the type of vacancies in 8 categories as per the official ntofication. The Commission released the list of qualified candidates in the following 8 categories of vacancies -

It is to be noted that earlier Staff Selection Commission (SSC) had released SSC GD Result Date along with the Result Schedule for All SSC Exam. According to the notification, it has been said that the  SSC GD Constable Result 2019 will be published on 21 June 2019.Candidates can check their result once it is uploaded on the official website with providing their credentials.

Needless to say, SSC had released the tentative vacancy list for Constable in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Exam 2018. As per the list, a total of 58373 vacancies will be recruited through this recruitment drive out of which 50066 vacancies are for Male candidates and 8307 vacancies are for Female candidates.

It is to be noted thatearlier the SSC GD 2019 result was expected on May 31. SSC has postponed the declaration date of result for SSC GD Constable 2019. Now, the commission will announce the result of GD Constable on 21 June 2019.

Candidates should note that the cut off for male and female candidates has been released by the commission and is provided here for quick reference. A total of 4,65,632 Male Candidates have been shortlisted for PET/PST round. Total 68,420 Females in various categories have qualified in the CBT.It is to be noted that SSC had conducted Constable GD in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) Exam 2018 from 11 February 2019 to 11 March 2019 in the Computer Based Mode. A total number of 30, 41,284 candidates appeared in the examination out of which 529273 Candidates Qualified for the PET/PST.

According to the short notice released by the SSC, candidates have been shortlisted for PET/ PST in an approximate ratio of 1:10 (vacancy: candidates). Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates securing less than 33% marks and Unreserved (UR) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates securing less than 35% marks have not been considered eligible for short-listing to the PET/ PST.

SSC GD Constable Normalize Marks System

According to the short notification released by the SSC, selection of candidates in the Computer Based Examination has been done on the basis of Normalized Marks scored by the candidates in the Computer Based Examination.  Earlier SSC has notified that it will opt the Normalized Marks for CBT and it has hinted that final merit as well as selection of the candidates will also be made on the basis of normalized marks.

SSC GD Constable Result 2019 Date: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to announce the result for Constable in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Exam 2018 soon at its official portal, i.e. ssc.nic.in. Candidates are advised to keep a track on the official portal of the Commission for latest updates.

As per the latest schedule announced by the Commission, SSC GD Constable Result 2018-19 will be announced on 31 May 2019. The candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to check their Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Riflemen (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2018 (written examination) result from the official website.

SSC Constables (GD) 2018-19 CBT Exam was held from 11 February 2019 to 11 March 2019. Staff Selection Commission will recruit around 54,953 vacancies through this examination in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA & SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles (AR).

Earlier, SSC released the tentative vacancy list for Constable in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Exam 2018. As per the list, a total of 58373 vacancies will be recruited through this recruitment drive out of which 50066 vacancies are for Male candidates and 8307 vacancies are for Female candidates.

The Commission had notified a total of 54953 vacancies for Constable (General Duty) Recruitment 2018-19. As per sources, a total of 52,20,335 candidates had applied for this exam out of which only 30,41,284 candidates appeared in the exam. The result for the same will be announced on 31 May 2019 as per official notification.

Steps to Download SSC GD Result 2018-19

• Visit the official website of SSC. i.e. ssc.nic.in.
• Click on SSC GD Constable Result 2019.
• Enter the required credentials and click on the submit button.
• The admit card will be displayed on the screen.
• Candidates can download and take a printout of the result for future reference.

All those candidates who will qualify the SSC Constable CBE 2018 will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) which will be held at various exam centres finalized by the CAPFs.
