• These rules will be applicable for admission in the first year Bachelor of Science (BSc) Program for the Colleges of Ahmedabad City only

For the purpose of admission to the first year of the programs, available seats will include all sanctioned Govt. Grant / in / aid or unaided seats of the programs mentioned in the Govt., Grant / in / aid or Unaided University School, Dept., Govt. College or institution

Eligibility Criteria

• For the purpose of admission, a candidate has passed the qualifying examination in the subjects by Gujarat University from time to timefrom
• the Gujarat Board;
• the Central Board of Secondary Education;
• The Council of Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi;
• the National Institute of Open Schooling;
• the International School Board;
• A candidate who has passed the qualifying examination from any other state of Gujarat;
• A candidate who has passed the qualifying examination after appearing in the supplementary examination will be eligible
• A candidate who has passed the qualifying examination from other than Gujarat Board and out of Gujarat State, Gujarat State will be required to obtain Provisional Eligibility Certificate (PEC) from Gujarat University before registration

Gujarat University B.sc Admission 2019 Reservation of Seats

• For the purpose of admission, the seats will be reserved for the candidates who are of Gujarat origin and falling under the following categories and in the following proportion, namely
• Scheduled Castes: 7%
• Scheduled Tribes: 15%
• Socially and Educationally Backward Classes: 27%
• No caste certificate shall be valid unless it is stamped, signed and issued by the authority of the Government of Gujarat

Gujarat University B.sc Admission 2019 Admission Procedure

• The admission process will be off campus online in the following manner, namely The Admission Committee will prepare the eligible candidates of the merit list who have applied under 14.2, after verification of the documents submitted under
• The merit lists will be displayed on the web / site of the Admission Committee and by such other means, as the Committee is considered convenient
• The candidate should be required to indicate minimum 15 of his / her preferences
